The Little Sand Lake Area Association (LSLAA) needs all property owners to support the lake by paying a membership fee. The cost is $50 per calendar year. Your membership helps keep Little Sand Lake one of the cleanest, clearest lakes in Minnesota.
We are an all-volunteer organization. Your funds support:
- Aquatic Invasive Species (AIS) inspections at the public launch
- Membership in the Minnesota Coalition of Lake Associations (COLA)
- Advocacy for “Clean, Drain & Dry” initiatives
- Shoreline restoration efforts
- Protection of the natural resources in and around the lake
LSLAA is a Minnesota 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Your contributions are tax-deductible. Please save your confirmation email as your receipt.

How to Get Started (Onboarding)
If You Have Previously Lived on the Lake
Most long-time lake residents have already been added to our system.
- Visit the Member Portal.
- Use your existing email address to reset your password.
- Log in to your account.
- Purchase or renew your annual membership.
If you have lived on the lake for some time but cannot access your account, please use the New Member Sign-Up Form so we can assist you.
If You Are a New Property Owner
Welcome to Little Sand Lake.
If you recently purchased property on the lake, please complete the New Member Sign-Up Form to begin the onboarding process.
You will be asked to provide your Property ID (PID) so we can securely confirm property ownership and grant appropriate access.
Once your information is verified, you will receive instructions to activate your account and complete your membership purchase.
Membership Types
Annual Lake Resident Membership — $50/year
- Available to property owners and their immediate family members on Little Sand Lake
- Includes access to the member portal and directory
- One vote per property
- Full membership privileges
Associate Membership — $50/year
- Available to supporters who do not own property on the lake
- Annual membership
- Does not include voting privileges
